Product Overview
The Steel Backed Gear Motor Thrust Plate is designed for high-frequency alternating sliding at the end face of gear motors. It supports external gear motors and tandem gear motors that operate with repeated pressure changes and frequent direction reversal.
Material Structure
The plate combines a rigid steel backing with a CuSn6Zn6Pb3 tin-zinc-lead bronze friction layer.
The steel backing provides structural support. The bronze layer supplies the low-friction and wear-resistant working surface.
Alternating Load Resistance
During operation, the high- and low-pressure chambers of a gear motor change continuously. Forward and reverse rotation also produces repeated impact on the thrust plate.
The component is designed to maintain stable performance under these alternating loads and resist fatigue-related damage.
Surface Contact
Parallelism is controlled within 0.003 mm, while gear-face contact is at least 98%.
Accurate surface contact helps distribute the operating load evenly and supports stable motor startup.
Friction Performance
The oil-lubricated friction coefficient is 0.06–0.12. The plate also provides scoring resistance under boundary lubrication conditions.
The maximum supported rotational speed is 3,000 r/min.
Direct Replacement
Controlled thickness and dimensional consistency allow the Steel Backed Gear Motor Thrust Plate to replace a matching original component without secondary fitting.
This can shorten the maintenance cycle and reduce additional machining work.
Application Areas
The product is suitable for gear motors used in construction machinery travel systems, sanitation vehicles, forklifts, and other hydraulic drive equipment.
Customization Support
Production is available according to customer drawings or physical samples. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces.
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Urgent orders may be completed approximately five days earlier.
Delivery and Service
Standard delivery is 25–30 days. Repeat orders may be delivered about one week earlier.
A six-month warranty is provided. Return or replacement requests are handled within five days.
