Product Overview
The Bimetal Hydraulic Pump Side Plate is designed for medium- and low-pressure general hydraulic pumps. It is suitable for original equipment production and aftermarket replacement.
Its bimetal structure provides both mechanical strength and a low-friction working surface.
Material Structure
The product uses a low-carbon steel backing combined with a CuPb10Sn10 lead bronze alloy layer.
The steel backing provides rigid support. The bronze alloy layer offers wear resistance, self-lubrication, and reduced friction during pump operation.
Metallurgical Bonding
The steel and bronze layers are formed as one structure through metallurgical sintering.
The bonding strength is at least 150 MPa. This helps prevent separation or cracking under high-pressure operating conditions.
Precision Machining
End-face flatness is controlled within 0.005 mm. Friction surface roughness is Ra 0.2 μm or better.
The precise working face supports close contact inside the hydraulic pump and is suitable for floating pressure compensation structures.
Stable Pump Performance
The compensation structure can respond to gradual end-face wear. This helps maintain stable volumetric efficiency without frequent shutdowns for adjustment.
The alloy layer thickness is 0.5–1.0 mm, and its hardness is HB 70–100.
Wear and Seizure Resistance
The bronze surface provides better resistance to scoring and galling than all-steel and powder metallurgy side plates.
This reduces the risk of pump seizure, especially during continuous operation or under demanding lubrication conditions.
Customization Support
Production can be arranged according to customer drawings or physical samples. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces.
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Urgent samples can be completed in approximately 25 days.
Application Areas
This Bimetal Hydraulic Pump Side Plate can be used in hydraulic systems for machine tools, injection molding machines, light industrial machinery, loaders, and excavators.
It has a rated working pressure of up to 25 MPa and a maximum working temperature of 260°C.
Delivery and Warranty
The standard delivery time is 25–30 days. A six-month warranty is provided, with return or replacement support for damage not caused by improper use.


Manufacturing Experience
The factory has produced bimetal products since 1995. Its 16,000 m² site includes three continuous sintering lines and 30 machining centers.
Quality Control
Quality checks cover incoming materials, first-piece inspection, scheduled in-process inspection, and final inspection before shipment.
Export Packaging
Small export orders are packed in wooden cases with iron locking nails.
Orders above half a ton are placed on iron pallets and secured with stretch film for long-distance transportation.
