The Copper Steel Bimetal Flat Sheet is designed as raw material for sliding bearings, hydraulic pump components, motor parts, and wear-resistant guide plates.
It combines a low-carbon steel base with a tin bronze or lead bronze alloy surface.
Composite Structure
The steel layer provides strength and rigidity.
The copper alloy layer supplies low-friction, self-lubricating, wear-resistant, and heat-conducting properties.
Metallurgical Bonding
The steel and copper materials form a metallurgical composite interface.
The shear strength reaches at least 150 MPa, helping prevent weak bonding or layer separation during forming and machining.
Thickness Range
The total sheet thickness is available from 1.5 to 10.0 mm.
The copper alloy layer thickness can be produced from 0.5 to 1.5 mm.
Forming Performance
The Copper Steel Bimetal Flat Sheet can be used for blanking, bending, and deep drawing.
The supplied material passes a cupping test without layer separation or peeling.
Surface Quality
The product surface is controlled to avoid pores, inclusions, and visible layer separation.
Sheet flatness is maintained within 0.08 mm per meter.
Alloy Hardness
The copper alloy layer hardness is HB 70–110.
Hardness can be adjusted according to the selected bronze material.
Processing Value
Stable forming and machining performance helps improve the production consistency of finished components.
The material is suitable for both batch manufacturing and customized wear-component production.
Application Areas
The sheet can be used to manufacture bimetal sliding bearings, hydraulic pump and motor components, machine-tool guide plates, mold wear plates, and automation equipment guides.
It is also suitable for anti-friction structural parts used in marine and metallurgical equipment.


Custom Production
Specifications are available according to customer drawings. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces.
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Urgent orders may be completed approximately five days earlier.
Delivery and Commercial Terms
Standard delivery is 25–30 days. Repeat orders may be delivered about one week earlier.
Payment is normally 50% in advance before production and 50% before shipment. The preferred trade term is EXW.
