Bimetal Wear Resistant Plate Stock

The Bimetal Wear Resistant Plate Stock is developed for manufacturing heavy-load sliding components used in demanding industrial environments. It is suitable for high temperature, dust, repeated impact, and operating conditions with limited lubrication.

Product Overview

The Bimetal Wear Resistant Plate Stock is developed for manufacturing heavy-load sliding components used in demanding industrial environments.

It is suitable for high temperature, dust, repeated impact, and operating conditions with limited lubrication.

Material Structure

The material combines a high-strength steel plate base with a highly wear-resistant copper alloy layer.

A solid lubricant phase is evenly distributed throughout the copper alloy surface.

Solid Lubrication

The solid lubricant phase provides continuous friction protection under boundary lubrication and temporary dry-friction conditions.

This helps reduce galling, adhesion, and surface damage when oil supply is insufficient.

Thickness Range

The total plate thickness can be produced from 2.0 to 12.0 mm.

The wear-resistant alloy layer thickness ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 mm.

Bonding Strength

The metallurgical bonding strength is at least 160 MPa.

The bonded steel-copper structure can withstand heavy loads, impact, and repeated sliding without normal layer separation.

Wear Performance

The dry-friction wear rate is controlled within 0.02 mm per 1,000 hours. The wear rate is lower under oil lubrication.

According to the supplied product information, its wear resistance is more than 80% higher than that of ordinary bimetal sheet material.

Hardness and Temperature

The alloy layer hardness is HB 80–120.

The Bimetal Wear Resistant Plate Stock supports long-term working temperatures up to 300°C.

Machining Performance

The material maintains stable machining characteristics during cutting and finished-part production.

It can be processed into custom friction plates and other heavy-duty wear components.

Application Areas

Typical uses include heavy-duty hydraulic friction pairs, construction machinery wear plates, and high-load sliding parts for mining and metallurgical equipment.

It is especially suitable for hot, dusty, and poorly lubricated working environments.

Factory Capability

The factory has three continuous sintering lines, 30 machining centers, 10 CNC lathes, 10 surface grinders, and two double-face grinders.

All core processes are completed within the company's own production site.

Ordering and Delivery

Production is available according to customer drawings or samples. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces, and several specifications may be combined in one order.

Custom samples normally require 30 days. Standard delivery is 25–30 days, and repeat orders may be delivered about one week earlier. A six-month warranty is provided.
