Product Overview
The Bimetal Composite Bronze Steel Sheet is supplied as raw material for manufacturing sliding friction components.
It combines the structural strength of steel with the low-friction and wear-resistant properties of a copper alloy surface.
Material Options
The base material can be low-carbon steel or alloy steel, including SPCC, 08Al, and 45 steel.
Available copper alloy layers include CuPb10Sn10 and CuSn6Zn6Pb3.
Manufacturing Process
The steel base and copper alloy layer are joined through sintering and rolling.
This process creates a metallurgical bond with a strength of at least 150 MPa.
Thickness Range
The total sheet thickness can be produced from 1.0 to 12.0 mm.
The copper alloy layer thickness ranges from 0.3 to 2.0 mm, while sheet width can be customized.
Forming Performance
The material can withstand stamping, bending, and machining processes.
A 180-degree bending test shows no layer separation or cracking under the stated product requirements.
Surface Accuracy
Sheet flatness is controlled within 0.1 mm per meter.
Stable flatness supports cutting, forming, and precision machining during component production.
Processing Options
The Bimetal Composite Bronze Steel Sheet can be supplied in hot-rolled or cold-rolled condition.
Cutting, slitting, annealing, and surface finishing services are also available according to order requirements.
Material Efficiency
The steel base provides structural support, while the bronze surface supplies the required friction performance.
This structure reduces copper consumption compared with a full-copper sheet.
Application Areas
The sheet is used to manufacture hydraulic side plates, port plates, bushings, bearings, guide plates, and anti-friction washers.
It is also suitable for sliding components used in automotive, construction, and general machinery.


Manufacturing Capability
The factory operates three continuous bimetal sintering lines and 30 machining centers.
Core sintering and finished machining processes are completed in-house. The company passed ISO 9000-2001 quality system certification in 2003.
Customization and Delivery
Specifications can be produced according to customer drawings. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces.
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Standard delivery is 25–30 days, with large-order discounts discussed separately.
