The Steel Bronze Gear Motor Shaft Sleeve is developed for the alternating radial loads applied to gear motor shafts.
It supports frequent forward and reverse rotation in external gear motors.
Material Options
The standard structure uses a steel backing with a CuSn8 lead-free copper alloy layer.
A leaded alloy version is also available according to the customer's design and operating requirements.
Radial Load Support
The steel backing provides rigid support for the shaft.
The rated radial load is up to 70 N/mm², making the sleeve suitable for repeated motor loading.
Fatigue Wear Resistance
Gear motor shafts experience continuously changing radial forces during operation.
The bronze layer is designed to resist fatigue wear under these alternating loads and maintain stable contact with the shaft.
Boundary Lubrication
The friction surface provides anti-seizure performance under boundary lubrication.
It can tolerate a short period of insufficient oil supply without immediate seizure failure.
Shaft Protection
Good matching between the sleeve and gear shaft helps reduce wear on both components.
This can extend the operating life of the motor and reduce the frequency of shaft replacement.
Precision Control
Bore roundness is controlled within 0.005 mm. Coaxiality is maintained within 0.01 mm.
The oil-lubricated friction coefficient is 0.05–0.12, and the supported rotational speed is up to 3,000 r/min.
