Product Overview
This bimetal bushing is developed for the alternating radial loads applied to gear pump shafts.
It can support both drive and driven shafts in external gear pumps used in original equipment or repair projects.
Material Structure
The product uses a steel backing and a CuSn8 lead-free bronze alloy layer.
A leaded version is also available when required by the customer's design or operating conditions.
Radial Load Performance
The rated radial load is up to 70 N/mm².
The steel backing supports the shaft load, while the bronze layer provides the sliding surface required for repeated rotation.
Fatigue Wear Resistance
Gear pump shafts experience continuously changing radial forces during operation.
The bimetal bushing is designed to resist fatigue wear under these alternating loads and maintain stable contact with the gear shaft.
Boundary Lubrication
The bronze layer provides anti-seizure performance under boundary lubrication.
It can tolerate a short period of insufficient oil supply without immediately developing seizure failure.
Shaft Protection
Good matching between the bushing and gear shaft helps reduce shaft surface wear.
This supports longer operating life for the complete gear pump and can reduce the frequency of shaft and bushing replacement.
Dimensional Control
Bore roundness is controlled within 0.005 mm, while coaxiality is maintained within 0.01 mm.
The oil-lubricated friction coefficient is 0.05–0.12, and the supported rotational speed is up to 3,000 r/min.
Application Areas
The product is suitable for external gear pumps used in forklifts, tractors, sanitation vehicles, and other mobile hydraulic equipment.
It can be supplied for new pump production or aftermarket maintenance.
Customization Support
OEM and ODM services are available. Production can follow customer drawings, samples, dimensions, and application requirements.
The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces. Several product types and specifications may be combined in one order.
Delivery and Packaging
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Urgent orders may be completed about five days earlier, while standard delivery is 25–30 days.
Small export orders use wooden cases with metal fasteners. Orders above half a ton are placed on iron pallets and secured with stretch film.
Quality and Warranty
Roundness, coaxiality, hardness, and other key dimensions are inspected before shipment. The product carries a six-month warranty, and return or replacement cases are handled within five days.
