Product Overview
The Steel Backed Piston Motor Valve Plate is manufactured for high-pressure piston motors operating with large torque and frequent pressure impact.
It is suitable for both original motor assembly and high-pressure motor remanufacturing.
Material Structure
The component combines a high-strength alloy steel base with a high-lead bronze friction layer.
The steel provides strength and rigidity. The bronze layer offers low-friction performance and supports oil-distribution sealing.
Metallurgical Bonding
The shear bonding strength reaches at least 180 MPa.
This strong interface supports stable operation under alternating high-pressure loads and helps prevent layer separation.
Pressure Capacity
The rated working pressure is up to 35 MPa. Peak pressure resistance reaches 45 MPa.
The plate is designed to withstand the repeated pressure impact created by high-torque output.
Sealing Stability
Accurate end-face machining supports stable contact between the valve plate and cylinder block.
End-face flatness is controlled within 0.003 mm, while surface roughness is Ra 0.15 μm or better.
Damping Groove Profile
The damping groove profile is optimized to reduce hydraulic impact during direction reversal.
It also helps lower operating noise during oil-distribution transitions.
Fluid Compatibility
The Steel Backed Piston Motor Valve Plate is compatible with HM anti-wear hydraulic oil and different fire-resistant hydraulic fluids.
The alloy layer hardness is HB 80–110.
Application Areas
The product is suitable for axial and radial piston motors.
Typical applications include construction machinery, metallurgical equipment, and heavy mining machinery.
Factory Capability
The factory operates on a self-owned 16,000 m² site. It completes bimetal sintering and finished machining in-house.
Its stated annual production capacity is one million bimetal side plates, with an annual output value of up to RMB 50 million.


Custom Production
Production is available according to customer drawings or physical samples. The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces.
Several product types and specifications may be combined in one order.
Delivery and Payment
Custom samples normally require 30 days. Urgent samples may be completed about five days earlier, and standard delivery is 25–30 days.
Payment is normally 50% in advance before production and 50% before shipment. The preferred trade term is EXW.
