Position the gear pump side plate against the corresponding section of the pump body, while simultaneously inserting the lower bearing housing into the pump body.
Check that the bearing housing fits perfectly with the pump body, then fasten the side plate bolts to the pump body.
Ensure the gear shaft is fully engaged with the bearings and apply lubricant to the bearings to ensure proper operation.
Before installing the side plate, remove any dust or debris from the pump body and the side plate to ensure a tight fit.
