Hydraulic bushings feature a sophisticated and complex structure, primarily composed of a metal inner tube, a main rubber spring, a structural frame, nylon limiters, a metal outer tube, and fluid. The main rubber spring divides the fluid-filled cavity into two chambers connected by a narrow, elongated passage (known as the inertia track). This design allows fluid to flow between the chambers when external forces are applied, creating a resonant system with a resonant frequency that can be tuned as required.
The structural frame not only helps maintain the shape of the inertia track but also plays a key role in durability, sealing, and stiffness adjustment. The inner tube connects to the mounting bolt, ensuring structural stability. Meanwhile, the nylon limiters engage with the rubber when subjected to high radial impact forces; this sharply increases stiffness and limits displacement, thereby protecting the main rubber spring from fatigue failure.
